As an entrepreneur, I have started two companies, one in the renewable energy space and one in mindfulness training for organisations. I played a key role in product development, marketing, business development and general management of these two ventures.
As a coach, I have worked with a number of blue-chip companies in South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa. I have carried out research, design and delivery of different programmes in leadership, sales, and general soft skills training.
Companies I have worked for include General Electric, Investec, Coronation, Old Mutual, Sanlam, Santam, Woolworths, British American Tobacco, Discovery, First National Bank, and ABSA.
I am a husband and a father, which keeps me pretty busy. When I’m not working you’ll find me with my family, or surfing, reading a good book, somewhere in nature, or just generally thinking about the human condition.
I am a graduate of the UCT GSB Professional Coaching Course (PCC), having completed all of the required programmes run by the Centre for Coaching and New Ventures West (USA). I also have two undergraduate degrees from the University of Cape Town – a B.Soc.Sc. in Philosophy, and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (cum laude).
I have also done extensive training in Depth Facilitation, and am accredited both as an Enneagram practitioner and an Insights practitioner.
